Marcus Miller- Covers everything on the down low side.. Brings funk, soul, jazz and the Best Hat In Music.
Victor Wooten- (Dave has actually met Marcus and Vic so he is past cool). The master of the slam, plunk, virtuoso sound..
Stanley Clarke- The man who started the contemp sound with the bass.. School Days will forever be in the soundtrack of my life.
Charles Mingus- Do I really have to say anything about the master?
Robby Takac- From the Wooten school of Bass playing. Not only that, this cat is doing things in Buffalo that would make anybody weep.
